After years of working and animating for a range of companies from small to large corporate’s I wanted to add something else to my creative work life, create something for the consumer I could build and also enjoy. Utilising my design skills and passion for character work I came up with Paper Steps. It’s my own children’s illustrations and wall art that the customer can personalise, add their child or family name and make it their own.
I created this new project over the course of a year, working not just on the artwork but learning to build my own eCommerce store which was a massive learning curve. I love our animation work here at Full Rotation but It’s been different not working to a brief or strict storyboard and free from deadlines.

The plan is to now keep adding more art and build the Paper Steps brand, branch out into greeting cards etc. Maybe even incorporate some into our animation work in the future.
